These boards also carry all inter-matrix messaging and system configuration data between Gemini units and other connected systems. Although normally connected to a master database on the network, each Gemini frame can store up to 4 configurations and is therefore not reliant on connection to a central server. The Gemini system is normally deployed as a simple control interface to other equipment, but the in-built GPI capability allows external control access to an extensive array of audio routing and logic functions for maximum integration.
